एक बूढ़े पिता की कहानी जो आप को सोचने पर मजबूर कर देगी रामगोपाल शहर में नौकरी करता था और अपनी पत्नी के साथ वही रहता था | एक दिन उसके पिता जी भी उसके पास पहुंच गए , पहले तो रामगोपाल और उसकी पत्नी बहुत ही खुश हुए | लेकिन जब उनको मालूम पड़ा के पिता जी अब यही रहेंगे तो उनको बहुत ही चिंता होने लगी | उनके पास एक रूम और किचन के साथ बरामदा था | रात को सब लोग डिनर बारामदे में ही करते थे , रामगोपाल के पिता जी कभी कुर्सी पर बैठ कर खाना नहीं खाया था | इसलिए जब भी वो उनके साथ डिनर करते तो बहुत ज्यादा खाना टेबल पर गिर जाता और कभी – कभी तो डिनर से प्लेट गिर जाती और टूट जाती थी | कुछ दिनों तक तो यह सब रामगोपाल और उसकी पत्नी ने बर्दास्त किया लेकिन एक दिन उसकी पत्नी बोली यह रोज – रोज नहीं चल पायेगा | रामगोपाल और उसकी पत्नी ने अपने पिता जी के लिए लोहे का थाली बनवा दिया और उनको अब अलग किचन में ही बैठाकर खिलाते थे और जब मन करता कुछ भी बोल देते | लेकिन बूढ़ा बाप क्या करे चुप – चाप सुनता रहता था |

समय बीतता चला गया और एक दिन रामगोपाल के बेटे ने पूछा आप लोग दादा जी को लोहे की थाली में क्यों खाना देते है | इस पर रामगोपाल ने कहा – तुम्हारे दादा जी अब बूढ़े हो गए है और हर रोज एक थाली तोड़ देते है , इसलिए उनको अलग से लोहे की थाली में खाना दिया जाता है | इसके बाद रामगोपाल के बेटे ने जवाव दिया की जब आप दोनों लोग बूढ़े हो जावोगे तो में आप लोगो के लिए इससे भी अच्छी लोहे की थाली लाऊंगा | यह सुनकर रामगोपाल और उसकी पत्नी को बहुत अफ़सोस हुवा | उसी दिन से उनलोग ने अपने पिता जी की लोहे की थाली फेक दिया औvर सब लोग फिर से साथ में खाना खाने लगे |

The story of an old father who will make you think Ramgopal used to work in the city and lived with his wife. One day his father also reached him, at first Ram Gopal and his wife were very happy. But when he came to know that his father would remain the same, then he started to worry a lot. He had a verandah with a room and kitchen. At night, everyone used to have dinner in Baramde, Ram Gopal's father never sat and ate food in a chair. So whenever he had dinner with him, too much food would fall on the table and sometimes the plate would collapse and break from the dinner. For a few days, Ramgopal and his wife ruined it, but one day his wife said that it would not be able to go on every day. Ram Gopal and his wife got an iron plate made for their father and used to sit and feed him in a separate kitchen and would speak whatever he wanted. But the old father kept listening to what to do silently. Time passed and one day Ramgopal's son asked why do you give food to grandfather in an iron plate. On this Ramgopal said - Your grandfather has become old now and breaks a plate every day, so he is given food separately in an iron plate. After this Ramgopal's son gave a reply that when both of you are old, then I will bring a better iron plate for you guys. Ramgopal and his wife were very sorry to hear this. From the same day, he threw away his father's iron plate and everyone started eating together again.
